How long does the procedure take?

The dental crown procedure is typically broken up into two different appointments. The first involves impressions and removal of decay and the second is the placement procedure. Both appointments do not take more than an hour and a half. 

Are there any required recovery steps?

Nope! General dentists recommend avoiding hard or chewy foods for the first 24 hours, however, beyond that, there is nothing special to do.
